A) Eliminating the USB power cable to the Raspberry PI and connecting the 5 volt wiring directly to its circuit board preserving it’s built in safety features.

B) Converting DC 12 volt power to 5 Volt DC power using a DC to DC power converter that is ready made and only requires moderate modification and best yet, Cost 1 dollar!
