Building Robotic Arm using CAD and CNC Router

Using Solidworks, VCarve Pro and Mach3 software to instruct a CNC Router to cut parts used to construct a home built, original design, 6 Axis robotic arm. The arm is planned to contain 2 quarter scale servos and 4 large stepper motors. The arm will have a maximum reach of about 48 inches. Geared stepper motors are being considered at the moment.
