XLR is an acronym for “External Line Return”. An XLR connector is a electrical connector mostly used in professional Audio, Video and stage lighting equipment. When in a jam (emergency) or you just want to try and save an old broken xlr cable, here is a video guide for doing just that. Possibly….. to get a few more mile out of it. All XLR cables are not created equally so get the heaviest gauge wire that still remains flexible and good quality connectors, unlike the ones shown in this video.
