The Problem Step Recorder or PSR is a built in function of most Windows versions that allow users to record their step by step interactions with the computer and provide a detailed screen-by-screen view with accompanying play by play information.

The PSR tool was developed to be used as a troubleshooting aid by sharing visually what steps were taken to cause an event to happen or not.
