This video will show you how to go into bios or native VGA mode and change the video settings back to automatic using a Dell Dimensions 4600. This technique will work with many different brands and models of computers including laptops.

Question:
I have a Dell Dimension 4700 my Dad gave me a wider monitor and I tried to go into control panel under display settings. I changed the settings from system to automatic. Since then I no longer have any picture on my monitor.

I since then tried putting the old monitor back. I was hoping that you could help me to somehow change the settings back from automatic to system, so I am able to see a picture again. I do have sound, but would really like to have a picture to see what I’m doing.
