Advice to keep your computer from installing other programs that are uninvited when all you really want to do is have fun.

Title of Question: Facebook Games Killing Computer

The Question: My Mom (computer noob) loves playing Facebook games. However, she keeps getting all these toolbars and shareware programs downloaded to her computer – which has killed 1 and has put another on life support (which is how I found your show – lol). Is there a way to protect her computer from downloading this stuff? (PS – I have McAfee running on her PC but it hasn’t helped much). Thanks
