Work on a Dell Inspiron 1750 Laptop reveals some failed wires in the LCD harness located along the hinge area creating a pinch point on the delicate wires.
The Virus that this computer had on it was the so called FBI virus as seen in recent news media reports, where the on board web cam starts up and you are instructed to buy products at a certain retailer to rid yourself of the virus.
