Today we celebrate our 100th video upload and “The Big Football Game” in this special edition of the Guru Brew. We have always wanted to build a big air cannon to shoot potato’s, t shirts, tennis balls and whatever we can think of, so this day seemed like a great opportunity to build one and shoot the Game Day football.

This pneumatic cannon was built using PVC pipe, a electric solenoid valve designed for a water sprinkler system, auto tire valve parts, and other misc. bits. We tested the cannon in this video with 80lbs of compressed air but the valve is capable of operating with pressures up to150 lbs.
