All About the CNC Router 101 – Creating Machine G-Code – Part #3

Posted by & filed under Video Post.

In this multiple part video series, we will be covering the basics of choosing, using and maintaining a CNC wood router. Most CAD/CAM basic lessons are covered in moderate detail that can also be be applied to many different types of machines that use computer generated G-Code to instruct the movement of mechanical parts to manufacture many different types of products, parts and pieces.

This is Part #3, Creating a parts G-Code using Master Cam.

I would personally like to own the Aspire package if you would like to donate it to me:)

I also recommend a CAM program called Sheet Cam for doing 2D work.

Low cost, good function 2D, easy to learn

For our overall project we are designing and building a Mame arcade style cabinet powered by a Raspberry Pi computer from the ground up, using a CNC router.
